Press Release: Matt E Hudson as Miles Fisher in 'Out in the Cold'.

Free Jazz Pictures have given audiences an early glimpse of Out in the Cold's Miles Fisher; portrayed by Matt E Hudson, the former blue collar spy in the indie spy thriller filming next year. While not a production still until filming begins, it sets the tone that this is not the usual spy trope that people expect; expensive suits, tuxedos and watches are out, this is more urban than urbane, borrowing more from Three Days of the Condor than James Bond.

In 'Out in the Cold' a retired spy must protect a courier who is witness to a murder, so she can return a diplomatic pouch. Both are pursued by assassins, leading to a tense, high-stakes game of hide-and-seek across one of the most surveilled cities in the world.

This is the first in a planned series of films featuring the reluctant action hero, being made as independent films.
