Online anthology series 'Tales After Midnight' goes into preproduction.

'Tales After Midnight' is an anthology series depicting different relationships and interactions in the bedroom; each episode explores different characters, ranging widely across drama, romance, thriller, and comedy genres.

The series, will have an online release, with six 10 minute episodes making up the first series. The premise takes the most mundane settings, and finds the interesting stories in people, as we eavesdrop on different dynamics of connection and modern love.

While set in London, 'Tales After Midnight' will have a European tone, to appeal to a larger audience.

Casting has begun for 11 characters, for the first series, as well as seeking filmmakers for either the series or individual episodes.

S1E1- Don’t be so sure

An aging rockstar Teddy Shaw, disappoints a fan who talks him into bed, but then realises he’s not what she built up in her head, meanwhile she’s not entirely what she appears to Teddy either.

S1E2 - In hot water

A pregnant couple discuss sex, whether it’s a good idea or bad idea, but just when they give into temptation, her water breaks.

Fiona and Dermott (20’s - 30’s)

S1E3 - A perfect storm

A psychiatrist and patient are woken by an early morning storm, and begin to discuss their predicament, but who is who, and who seduced who.

Alex and Grace (30’s)

S1E4 - Subtitles required

Two strangers wake as we begin to eavesdrop on their own personal thoughts in subtitles to what they are actually saying, revealing this to be the morning after a one night stand.

Ethan and Irene (20’s – 30’s)

S1E5 - What have we become?

A married couple get back from a party, and argue over a game that questioned their fidelity, with devastating consequences.

Owen and Penny (40’s)

S1E6 - Neighbourly advice

Two neighbours who don’t get on are forced to work together when a power cut causes problems in their block, and one of them gets locked out of their own apartment.

• Sound recordist - With wrieless recording equipment would be an adavantage for this agile production.

• Hair and makeup - Experience at doing injury and blood effects.

• Editor - Experience editor with Adobe Premier Pro and editing mobile cinematography.
